JARO, LEYTE – The Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Office 08, headed by Atty. Arnaldo E. Escober Jr., the Regional Director, participated in the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Rehabilitation and Improvement of Tinambacan Farm to Market Road on May 30, 2022 at Sitio Combado, Brgy. Tinambacan, Jaro, Leyte.

The ceremony highlighted the pledge signing; groundbreaking ceremony; overview of the FMI Project by the Regional Director of the Department of Trade and Industry Regional Office 08, Celerina T. Bato; and the messages of support by RD Escober, Jassie Lou Tañala, Mayor-Elect of Jaro, Leyte, Leonardo M, Javier, Jr., Vice-Governor-Elect of the Provincial Local Government of Leyte, Romero L. Castañaga, Deputy Project Director of the Rural Agro-Industrial Partnership for Inclusive Development National Project Coordination Office (RAPID NPCO), and Hon. Lolita “Karen” T. Javier, Congresswoman from the Second District of Leyte.

Also presented in the said activity are the messages of commitment by Frank Roy M. Ribo from the KAMMPIL Agricoop, Editha Azores of the Tinambacan Coconut Farmers Association, Hon. Alma Tamayo, the Punong Barangay of Tinambacan, and John Calvin De Guzman, the Vice President of the Viguz Construction.
RD Escober was also joined by Atty. Darwin N. Bibar, DILG Assistant Regional Director, Annabelle V. De Asis, Provincial Director of the DILG Leyte Provincial Office and Engr. Jesus Jeremy D. Bagares, PDMU Head.
