FADupdates | In adherence to the recent Advisory issued by the Records Unit regarding the Division-Specific 3-Day Schedule for Sorting and Disposal of Non-Current Valueless Records, and under the guidance of Division Chief, Engr. Ofelia M. Pido, sections within the Financial and Administrative Division (FAD) have commenced the process of sorting and disposing of documents, effective April 2, 2024.

Initiated by the General Service Section, Accounting Section, Budget Section, and Personnel Section, this endeavor aims to streamline document management practices and ensure optimal organizational efficiency within FAD.

Per the directive from the Records Section, sorting and thorough documentation of all documents are imperative. Following this initial step, documents are to be classified according to their type and respective years, facilitating streamlined documentation processes via the National Records Inventory sheet.

This proactive approach underscores FAD’s unwavering commitment to maintaining meticulous records management practices, promoting transparency, and optimizing operational effectiveness.
