FADupdates | In a bid to revolutionize personnel management, Mr. Kenneth G. Dumago, HRIS focal from the Personnel Section, spearheaded the introduction of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).

The HRIS initiative is set to modernize the handling of personnel records, with a primary focus on digitizing leave credits. By leveraging technology, the aim is to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency within the department.

With the HRIS in place, employees now have the convenience of applying for leave with ease. They can access real-time information regarding their remaining leave balances, eliminating the need for manual calculations and paperwork.

An orientation session was conducted on April 2nd, exclusively attended by members of the Local Government Monitoring and Evaluation Division (LGMED). During the session, Mr. Dumago provided insights into the functionalities and benefits of the HRIS, highlighting its potential to promote transparency and accountability in leave management.

The introduction of the HRIS marks a significant milestone in embracing technology to drive operational effectiveness and boost employee satisfaction within DILG Region 8. With its user-friendly interface and seamless integration, the HRIS is poised to revolutionize the management of personnel records, promising a more efficient and streamlined approach within the department.
