Regional Director Arnel Agabe together with ARD Atty. Darwin Bibar represented the region in the 7th Capacity Development Awards for Catalysts of Excellence (CapDev ACE) “Gabi ng Parangal” by the Local Government Academy (LGA) on December 14, 2022, at The Manila Hotel. The awards night recognized the DILG exemplars who embody the Department’s brand of leadership, and its unparalleled service towards exceptional governance.

This year, the DILG 8 commends CLGOO Jean Redi T. Briones of DILG Ormoc City for emerging as a finalist in the Singsing ng Tanikala Category.

We are also proud of DILG Southern Leyte for having been shortlisted in the Bugkos ng Bayan Category.
