TACLOBAN CITY – DILG RO8 conducted its Monday Convocation at the DILG Training Center on October 24, 2022.

 

RD Arnel M. Agabe led the activity where he emphasized the proper program assignments and the formulation of Division Transition Plans to ensure that there will be no overlapping of functions, among others. A general workflow for specific division processes shall be created indicating the timelines and checklist of requirements in achieving deliverables. This will make the procedures predictable and compliant to the Anti-Red Tape Act.

 

Moreover, he added that beyond through, the Local Government Regional Resource Center (LGRRC) must institute a community of practice. As a vehicle to initiate and pursue innovative and responsive capacity development interventions for LGUs through its major facilities and in partnership with stakeholders, LGRRC activities should be cascaded by the field offices  and Sub-LGRRCs as the Department’s frontliners.

 

“The activities should make our roles count. Everything should be a team effort,” RD Agabe said.

 

Present during the activity were Atty. Darwin N. Bibar, DILG Assistant Regional Director, Pia Monina Q. Lovete, LGMED Chief, Engr. Ofelia M. Pido, FAD Chief, Rudith A. Roca, LGCDD Chief, Engr.
