Aside from satisfactorily meeting the criteria for the level above, their role as Facilitators in the Apprenticeship Program for LGOOs II and III has demonstrated their excellent coaching capacity and expertise in key local governance areas.
In 2019, the DILG Certification for Coaches and Mentors was launched to improve the approach to producing local governance experts and further institutionalize coaching as a methodology in the Department. The said program is designed to become a formal recognition of the excellent coaching capacities of the DILG Field Officers in different key local governance areas, further strengthening coaching as a capacity-building tool toward excellence in local governance.
Our newly Certified Coaches will surely enhance the culture of excellence in the DILG R8. Padayon Rehiyon Otso!
