SAINT BERNARD, SOUTHERN LEYTE – The DILG RO8 conducted a project site validation for the 2022 FALGU and CMGP Projects on July 15, 2022, at the Municipality of Saint Bernard, Southern Leyte. The inspection validated two projects funded by the Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (FALGU) and the Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP) for FY 2022.

The Panian – Guinsaugon Road Phase 1 with a total project cost of 30 million pesos with a length of 1.21 kilometers will be funded under the FALGU Program. Phase 2 will also cost 30 million pesos with a length of 1.217 kilometers funded under the CMGP Program. The implementing unit is the Province of Southern Leyte.

The DILG RO8 PDMU engineers were joined by the personnel from the DILG Southern Leyte Provincial Office, the Southern Leyte Provincial Engineering Office, and the representatives of the LGU of Saint Bernard. As of date, the fund for Phase 1 under FALGU 2022 is already downloaded, while the funding for Phase 2 under CMGP 2022 is yet to be downloaded.
