The said road project is part of the FY 2020 Local Government Support Fund – Assistance to Municipalities (LGSF-AM) Program of the Department of the Interior and Local Government, with a total project cost of Php 11, 555,000.00 and a total length of 565.9 meters.

DILG 8 Regional Director Atty. Arnaldo E. Escobar, Jr. graced the activity together with Assistant Regional Director Atty. Darwin N. Bibar, and LGU Capul Mayor Hon. Teresita S. Bandal. The DILG provincial directors, cluster heads, program managers, and other DILG personnel and staff were also present.

Barangay officials of Brgy. Sawang together with the beneficiaries attended the event with some beneficiaries sharing their message of support and thanks for the project.
