As part of the Duterte Legacy Caravan in Eastern Visayas, DILG 8 represented by ARD Atty. Darwin N. Bibar together with PRO 8, DENR 8, and EMB 8, visited Baybay City Senior High School Evacuation Center in Baybay City, Leyte where survivors of the devastating landslides brought by TS Agaton are temporarily housed.
100 children from Barangays Kantagnos and Mailhi received slippers and hygiene kits from DILG. While PNP, DENR, and EMB distributed comics, coloring materials, food packs, and snacks.
This joint effort is in keeping with EO 137 which aims to harmonize sustainable assistance and program of National Government Agencies for the Filipino people.
