The DILG Local Government Regional Resource Center-8 in cooperation with the DILG ORMOC CITY Sub-LGRC forged a partnership with the Development Academy of the Philippines-Graduate School of Public Development and Management (DAP-GSPDM) through a Memorandum of Understanding.

The MOU signing was held in Ormoc City last March 24, 2022. The DILG R8 was represented by Regional Director Atty. Arnaldo E. Escober, Jr., LGCDD Division Chief Ms. Rudith Roca, and CLGOO Jean Redi T. Briones. The DAP was represented by the Dean of the GSPDM Dr. Lizan E. Perante-Calina while Ormoc City was represented by the City Administrator Mr. Vincent L. Emnas.

Aside from the MOU, another highlight of the activity was the Executive Course on Futures Planning and Program Management.
